This past weekend I experienced my first thanksgiving and it was a lot of fun. I don't think it's that special with thanksgiving, but I had a great weekend.During our first day we ate a delicious thanksgiving dinner with a yummy dessert. After that we played some pool in their basement which was so much fun since I have a pool table home in Sweden and it almost felt like I was home again, only 16 days left now though.
Next day we got up really early (around 6am) to go to mall since it was Black Friday and a lot of stuffs that were on sale. I didn't find that much, but eventually I bought a hat from the Oakley store. The weird thing was that the hat wasn't on sale, but it was worth the money anyway. When we got back to their place we had to take a nap to be able to do more fun stuff. During the night we went to an old theater to watch the movie "Red". It was alright, but not the best movie I have seen. We also bowled that night which was really fun and it was just a bonus that I won.
During Saturday we went to the Turkey Trot race and ran 5 kilometers. I wasn't sure if I could to it before the race since I had sprained my ankle a few days before, but I taped it really hard and it work really good. During the night we went to a party and me and Martin played a lot of beer-pong, or in this case they had water-pong. We had never played it before, but we were actually really good and won most of our games. After that we went to a club and both me and Martin thought they had awful music, but I guess we're not used to it yet. I recognized 3 songs maybe.
The last day we didn't do much, just went back to North Park.
Thanks for the weekend Monica!
