Weekend

Now I have been in Chicago for 33 days and the time is going so fast. We have already played four tournaments with the golf team, and we only have two left this fall, one this weekend and the last one next weekend. This weekend we're going to Galena that's like 3 hours away from North Park so we're going to sleep over at a hotel which is going to be really nice. It's going to be great to spend some time together outside the course and not only when we're playing or so.

After this weekends tournament I have a lot of homework since I have like 3 different things to do for my history class and also a test in my math class, but first it's time to play some good golf.

Think it's time for bed now though...

See you next week!

Wow!

Tomorrow it's time for our third tournament and this time we're going to Wisconsin to play at Brighton Dale Links. Take a look here: http://www.co.kenosha.wi.us/publicworks/golf/brightondale.html.

I haven't wrote it in the blog yet, but we won at our second tournament this Tuesday and it was so amazing. That's not everything that happened that day, we also shot school record (!!) with 292 strokes (+4), it feels incredible to be the lowest team in history.

Other things that have happened this week is that I have had my first exam in one of my classes this Fall, Foundation Of Exercise Science, and we got the results back today and I did okay, but not more. It's probably going to be easier and easier so I'm not worried.

That's it for today, I'm going to bed early tonight since we're leaving at 5a.m tomorrow and then play 36 hole so I need to get as much sleep as I can.

See you!

Robert Morris Invite

Yesterday we finished our first tournament of the year and our team finished at 4th place, pretty good start. I had a great tournament too. The first day I shot 78 and yesterday I shoot 75 and finished at 7th or 8th place overall myself. Next tournament we have are on Tuesday at Wedgewood Golf Course, take a look: http://www.wedgewoodgc.com/.

Tomorrow it's time to have classes again, but before we start with that we have practice with the golfteam at the football field where we're going to practice on our wedges. It's actually a really good place to practice on since the field has yardage so you can see how far you hit the ball.

Here is a picture from our last practice at the football field:

Shepherd's Crook Golf Course

Now it's only a few days left until we have the first tournament with our golfteam, it's going to be great! We had our last qualifying round on Monday and I played pretty good except a couple of holes on the back 9, but i finished up with a 76 and qualified for our first team for our tournament on Friday, I can't barely wait. The course we're going to play on looks really good to, take a look here, http://shepherdscrook.org/.

The last couple of days have been pretty good. Have had some homework to do though, but it's weird if you don't have that when your studying. Before lunch today we had practice with the golf team on the football field which is the perfect place to practice your wedges, since you have yardage on the whole field and can see how long you hit the ball.

That's it for today folks. Have some more homework to do..

See you!

Labour Day

Today it's Monday and it's Labour Day so we don't have any classes. I have had some problems lately with my cellphone since I haven't been able to use it, but I went back to Cricket were I bought the phone and that fixed it pretty fast, so now I can cell and text my friends again.

After lunch we have our last qualifying round to the tournament this weekend and I'm in a pretty good position, but I need to play good golf to keep that spot. We're 12 people in the team and 10 of us get to play the first tournament since we're going to have two teams, but you want to be in the top teem for sure. When we have played our round today we're going to Tyler's parents house and have dinner. That's going to be nice!

Now it's time to eat some food at the cafeteria so I will be back tomorrow.

See you!

School Start

The school has started at North Park University and it seems to be pretty good. I have had every class one time so far and it's just one of them that seems to be very fun, that's Foundation of Exercise Science. The other classes I have this Fall is: The Modern World(History), Introductory Statistics(Math) and Intro to the Bible. My schedule is pretty nice though. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I start at 11:45AM and finish the day of at 02:05PM and on Tuesday and Thursday I start classes at 11:40AM and finish at 03:10, so I can't complain about the schedule.

Another thing that I shouldn't complain about is the heat, but it's hard to not do it. It have been like around 30 degrees Celsius last couple of days and we don't have air conditioning in our room, me and Tobias just have one fan each, so that doesn't help so much, better then nothing though. Tomorrow it's probably going to rain and maybe some thunders too. That's actually going to be nice.

See you later!
